ABOUT AFROFUSION

AfroFusion is an African-themed musical event that celebrates music, food, fashion and culture, celebrating the black diaspora across New York City and the United States. Opening with an inaugural showcase at Tsion Cafe in Harlem, New York City, this monthly event will star two incredible vocalists, Dayo Dane and Kobe Ashley.

Monthly themes and branding will change, seasonally alluding to African.

DAYO

Dayo Dane Ephraim popularly known as Dayodane is a singer and songwriter based in New York. Originally from Nigeria, Dayodane worked as an entertainment reporter for over five years and interviewed several stars like Beyonce, Wyclef Jean, Akon, Michael Bolton, 2Face Idibia, Kim Kardashian, Sean Paul to name a few.

Dayo's love for entertainment lead to the creation of the Dayodane Show which has a massive following on Youtube. When he is not recording a new song or filming his show or music video, Dayodane works also works as a Guest Relations Specialist with luxury car brand, Ferrari. With several songs available on all streaming platforms, Dayodane has shared the same stage with international superstar Jennifer Lopez as they sang and danced together to a crowd of over a hundred thousand people in Las Vegas. He has also had the pleasure of meeting Maluma, Pusha T, The Weeknd since he started living in the big apple. KOBE is a new genre-bending artist from Atlanta, GA with powerful belts, agility like no other, and an overall sultry tone that penetrates the depths of his audience. Getting his start in church, Kobe gained experience singing Gospel, but has since studied Opera, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soul. This unique training allows him to seamlessly flow from genre to genre showcasing a sound equally as unique to him.
